Honda Elevate Facelift 2026 Launched: New Design, Premium Features, 360° Camera and Ventilated Seats

Honda Elevate Facelift 2026 has officially arrived in India, bringing a sharper design, upgraded cabin experience and several highly requested features to Honda’s mid-size SUV. Launched on October 6, 2026, the refreshed Elevate continues with Honda’s proven 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine while adding important technology and comfort upgrades.

The new Honda Elevate facelift starts at ₹11.80 lakh (ex-showroom), with the range extending to ₹18.40 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-end ZX Plus Black automatic variant, according to launch-day pricing reported by CarDekho.

For SUV buyers looking for a practical petrol-powered vehicle with strong safety credentials, spacious interiors and Honda’s familiar driving character, the updated Elevate could become an even more compelling choice in the competitive Indian SUV market.

Honda Elevate Facelift 2026: What’s New?

The 2026 Honda Elevate facelift focuses on improving the areas where modern SUV buyers increasingly expect more — design, convenience, technology, comfort and parking assistance.

Honda had already announced that India would become the first market to receive the updated Elevate. Pre-launch bookings opened on October 1 for ₹21,000, with bookings available through Honda’s authorised dealership network.

The facelift brings:

  • Updated front styling
  • Connected LED lighting elements
  • Revised grille and bumper
  • Updated cabin design
  • Ambient lighting
  • 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system
  • Premium 8-speaker audio system
  • Ventilated front seats
  • Ventilated rear seats
  • Power-adjustable front seats
  • 360-degree camera
  • Front parking sensors
  • Level-2 ADAS
  • Six airbags
  • 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine
  • Manual and CVT transmission options

One of the biggest talking points is the introduction of ventilated rear seats, which has been highlighted as a segment-first feature in the new Elevate.

Exterior Design: Honda Elevate Gets a Bolder Face

The original Elevate was known for its upright SUV proportions and relatively clean design. Honda has retained that basic identity but given the 2026 model a more contemporary appearance.

The facelift receives a redesigned front grille with honeycomb detailing, a more aggressive black treatment and a connected lighting element. The Honda logo has also been repositioned higher on the front section, following the design direction seen on Honda’s newer models.

The LED projector headlamps continue, while the bumper gets subtle revisions and additional detailing.

At the rear, the updated Elevate introduces a connected LED tail-lamp treatment, giving the SUV a more modern visual identity.

The side profile remains broadly familiar, preserving the Elevate’s practical proportions and upright stance. Higher variants continue to offer larger alloy wheels, while design details have been refreshed to make the SUV appear more premium.

Premium Interior Gets More Attention

Inside, Honda has concentrated on making the Elevate feel more upmarket.

The facelift introduces ambient lighting and lighter upholstery options, while the dashboard receives subtle design changes. The cabin continues to prioritise practicality and space rather than adopting an overly complicated layout.

The updated infotainment system uses a 10.25-inch touchscreen, supporting wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Connected-car technology is also available.

Another major upgrade is the audio system. Higher variants now receive an 8-speaker setup comprising four speakers and four tweeters, aimed at delivering a more premium entertainment experience.

The SUV also continues with features such as:

  • Automatic climate control
  • Single-pane electric sunroof
  • Wireless smartphone connectivity
  • Wireless charging
  • Semi-digital instrument cluster
  • Connected-car technology
  • Adjustable head restraints

For families, the addition of ventilated seating could be particularly attractive during India’s hot summer months.

Ventilated Rear Seats: The Feature Everyone Will Notice

Perhaps the most interesting upgrade is the addition of ventilated rear seats.

While ventilated front seats are increasingly common in premium variants of mid-size SUVs, Honda has gone a step further with the facelifted Elevate by offering ventilation for rear passengers as well.

This could give the Elevate a strong advantage among family buyers who regularly travel with rear-seat passengers.

The front seats also receive ventilation, while power adjustment is available for the front seats on higher variants.

Honda Elevate Facelift Engine and Performance

Honda has not radically changed the mechanical package.

The 2026 Elevate continues with the familiar 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, producing around 121 PS and 145 Nm. Buyers can choose between a 6-speed manual transmission and CVT automatic transmission.

This approach will appeal to buyers who prefer a naturally aspirated petrol engine with predictable power delivery and a relatively straightforward mechanical setup.

However, the absence of a strong-hybrid powertrain is worth noting.

Unlike SUVs such as the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, the Elevate facelift continues without a strong-hybrid option. That could matter to buyers whose top priority is maximum fuel efficiency.

At the same time, Honda’s decision to retain the existing engine means customers get a familiar and established powertrain rather than a completely new mechanical package.

Safety: 360-Degree Camera and ADAS

Safety remains one of the strongest selling points of the Honda Elevate.

The facelift adds a 360-degree camera and front parking sensors, making manoeuvring in tight urban spaces easier.

Honda also continues to offer its advanced driver assistance technology. The Elevate’s safety package includes Level-2 ADAS, while six airbags are part of the safety equipment.

Other safety technologies include:

  • Electronic stability control
  • Hill-hold assist
  • Rear parking sensors
  • Rear-view camera
  • ISOFIX child-seat mounting points
  • Traction control
  • Honda Sensing ADAS technology

Honda’s original Elevate already placed considerable emphasis on safety, including six airbags and Honda Sensing technology.

The addition of the 360-degree camera makes the SUV more competitive with newer rivals that have increasingly made surround-view cameras available in their higher variants.

Honda Elevate vs Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Other Rivals

The Honda Elevate operates in one of India’s most competitive SUV categories.

Its major rivals include:

  • Hyundai Creta
  • Kia Seltos
  • Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara
  • Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder
  • Maruti Suzuki Victoris
  • Skoda Kushaq
  • Volkswagen Taigun
  • Tata Curvv
  • Tata Sierra
  • MG Astor
  • The Elevate’s biggest strengths are its spacious cabin, naturally aspirated petrol engine, safety package, practical design and Honda’s established reputation.
  • However, buyers comparing several SUVs will also look at hybrid availability, turbocharged engines, connected technology, interior screens and overall feature count.
  • The Elevate facelift therefore represents Honda’s attempt to close some of the feature gap without fundamentally changing the SUV’s character.
  • Should You Buy the Honda Elevate Facelift?
  • The answer depends on what you want from your next SUV.
  • If your priorities are safety, space, comfortable family travel, naturally aspirated petrol performance and Honda’s driving experience, the facelifted Elevate deserves serious consideration.
  • The new 360-degree camera, ventilated seats, premium audio system and updated styling make the SUV more attractive than before.
  • On the other hand, buyers primarily interested in strong-hybrid efficiency or a turbo-petrol performance experience may find competing SUVs more appealing.
  • The lack of a hybrid option is arguably the biggest strategic limitation of the updated Elevate.
  • Trending News Fox Verdict
  • The 2026 Honda Elevate facelift is not a complete reinvention — and that may actually be its biggest strength.
  • Honda has preserved the SUV’s proven 1.5-litre petrol engine, spacious cabin and safety-focused character while addressing several areas where customers wanted more.
  • The new connected lighting, refreshed exterior, ambient lighting, premium audio system, ventilated seats and 360-degree camera give the Elevate a considerably more modern proposition.
  • Most importantly, Honda has kept the Elevate’s identity intact while making it better equipped for the increasingly feature-focused Indian SUV market.
  • Our verdict: If you’re planning to buy a mid-size petrol SUV in 2026, the new Honda Elevate should definitely be on your test-drive list.
